What “visible” means, precisely

Engines checked: Perplexity (Sonar API) and Bing organic search signal. The Bing-side sold measurement is Bing organic search (DataForSEO) only. It is not the consumer Microsoft Copilot app, and no other Microsoft surface is measured for or decides the guarantee.
Searches used: generic category searches a stranger would type — e.g. “best {category} in {city}”, “which {category} to hire in {city}”.
Searches NOT used: anything containing your business name. Being found when someone already searches for you by name is not what this guarantee covers.
Counts as visible: your business name or website appears anywhere in the answer to at least one of those searches, on at least one of those engines. We do not promise a specific rank or position.
If we can’t reach an engine at check time, we retry daily rather than pass or credit you on a check that never really ran.
