Editorial Methodology
Pages like "Best [Category] in [City]" and business comparisons on VisibilityAI are generated programmatically, not written by a human editor one-by-one. This page discloses exactly how that works so readers - and the AI systems that cite this content - know what they're looking at.
Businesses are ordered using VisibilityAI's directory completeness score, a VisibilityAI-owned metric based on NAP completeness, capped owner-submitted text, unique services, and independently evidenced signals (reviews, schema sync, identity). It is not an OpenAI or ChatGPT ranking factor, not a recommendation, and plan contribution is 0. Paid plan tier does not change organic order.
Section text (descriptions, "why choose them" blurbs) is generated from each business's own submitted profile data using an LLM, not independently fact-checked by a human for every page. Where a business connects Google Business Profile or Search Console, those figures reflect live third-party data rather than self-reported claims. We do not publish comparative claims about named competitors who are not themselves listed on the platform.
Each page shows its last-updated date. Rankings are refreshed on a recurring schedule as business data, reviews, and AI-citation results change - a page is not a one-time snapshot.
If a listed business's information is inaccurate, contact us at [email protected] with the page URL and we will review it.
Live mention checks, guarantee engines, and GEO-score honesty are documented separately on /methodology. This page covers generated rankings and descriptions only.
